Diving Komodo Day Tours
If
you are a certified scuba diver, it is necessary to dive Komodo National Park
on your visit in Indonesia. You will dive in drinking water and can touch two
walls in two different continents at the same time. If you travel with
non-divers this tour can be combined with the Snorkeling Tour on one of our
daily departures all year around.

Immerse
yourself in a unique underwater world with unmatched water clarity and swim
between two of the biggest continental plates on the planet!
Your
Komodo National Park Diving Day Tour begins when we pick you up from your
accommodation in Labuan Bajo. During the one-hour drive to Komodo National
Park, your guide will introduce you to the unique geological and cultural
history of Flores Island and the surrounding National Park of Komodo area.
Upon
arrival at the Labuan Bajo, your guide will give you a detailed briefing of the
dive site and the most important aspects of dry suit diving. Your guide will
then assist you in setting up the dive equipment. We use only high quality BARE
and Buddy brand SCUBA equipment and APEX regulators.
Then
it is time to take the plunge and experience diving into Komodo National Park’s
pristine, clear water. Filtered over decades by Flores’s volcanic basaltic
rock, you can easily take a sip during your dive; you will not find purer
drinking water.

This
tour is also available as the Snorkeling Kanawa Day Tour. Divers and snorkelers
can be on tour together.
Prerequisites:
Participants
must:
- Be at least 150 cm tall and wight at least 45kg.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a certified diver at the level of PADI Open Water or equivalent
- Bring proof of their diving certification.
- Be physically fit.
- Be ready to wear a sometimes tight & constricting dry suit.
- Not pregnant.
Dry
suit diving experience is recommended.
For
your safety and convenience, we conduct this tour with a minimum of one and a
maximum ratio of four divers per dive guide.
Please

Long

Thick
socks
